On 3 November 2026 in Chengdu, Zero One Auto (ZERON) launched the Jingzhe Leizhenzi S electric tractor with a Jushi 2.0 four-in-one e-axle that puts motor, three-speed AMT, axle and power take-off in one housing. A 6x4 tractor therefore runs two electric drive axles, and the second one now sets payload, cooling and cost.
Four Functions in One Housing
Jushi 2.0 lifts system efficiency above 94%, against roughly 90% for a central-drive layout, the company said at the launch. Twin drive axles deliver 780 kW, about 1,061 hp, through two 780 kW controllers, with a 37.1% maximum grade and constant torque to 5,600 rpm. Both axles share one parallel cooling loop rated at 22 kW, so a long climb does not overheat one axle first.
Payload Beats Torque
The 400 kWh 6x4 weighs 9,740 kg, 330 kg under comparable trucks; the 600 kWh version weighs 10,940 kg, 460 kg lighter. Floor-mounted batteries cut centre of gravity by 800 mm, with 405 mm of battery clearance. Prices start at 485,000 yuan and 160 units were delivered on launch day. Beidou data reported by Truck Home on 3 November 2026 show 2,591 new pure-electric dump trucks in October, up 62.5% year on year, and 28,443 in January-October, up 84.7%.
The Front Axle Sets the Layout
Floor batteries move mass forward, so front axle load rating and steering angle now fix the cab floor, bumper height and turning circle. Dongfeng's Tianlong GX Super, also shown on 3 November, carries a 600 kWh CATL Tianshan pack in a mountain-shaped frame recess on an 800 V platform, with a Bosch 2S2M dual-motor two-speed e-axle rated 720 kW.
What It Means for Zhucheng Yihe Axle
Zhucheng Yihe Axle Co., Ltd. supplies front axles and drive axle assemblies to Chinese commercial vehicle builders. Twin e-axle programmes shift value into housing stiffness, inter-axle torque split, lubrication and the power take-off port, while the forged front axle still carries the floor-battery load at a lower ride height. Quoting both axles as one package now decides the specification review.
Conclusion
By 3 November 2026 a production 6x4 electric tractor in China ran two four-in-one integrated e-axles with a built-in power take-off, 94% system efficiency and a 9,740 kg curb weight, so the commercial vehicle axle race is now decided by mass per axle and inter-axle integration, not peak torque.
